First Tee

Golf Québec proudly supports First Tee – Premier départ Québec, Golf Canada’s youth development program that provides children with life-enhancing experiences through golf. First Tee – Premier départ Québec offers accessible and inclusive programming at golf courses, schools, and community centres with unique curriculum, equipment, and training requirements for each. Together, we are introducing more children to golf, especially those who otherwise likely would not have the opportunity.

First Tee – Premier départ Québec launched in 2022 and has positively impacted over 17,000 children through golf. To learn more about becoming a First Tee program location, coach, or donor, visit https://firstteequebec.ca/or contact Jeremy Proteau at jproteau@golfcanada.ca.

Golf Canada partnered with First Tee to launch First Tee – Canada in 2021 and now operates programming in every province. First Tee began in the U.S. in 1997 and has since expanded to over 150 chapters across all 50 states and seven international networks, bettering the lives of over 15 million youth through golf.
